About Michelle Williams

EDUCATION:

Michelle Williams is a natural-born leader and a catalyst for growth within higher education, government, and healthcare sectors. With a passion for providing organizations with creative human resource solutions that bring results, Michelle’s 26 years of experience as a SHRM-SCP encompasses policy design, project management, labor negotiations, conflict resolution, training and development, and talent recruitment and selection. Michelle’s strong communication skills and down-to-earth perspective make her relatable to business professionals at all levels, whether interacting with her one-on-one or within a classroom setting. She is currently serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources at one of Baltimore’s Education Institutions, Cecil College. She is also an Adjunct Professor at several institutions of higher education where she teaches Human Resource courses.

In 2012, Michelle took the plunge into entrepreneurship and launched HRInnovations3000, a consulting company that assists small businesses with training and education, policy and handbook development, strategic planning, audit compliance, and onboarding. In June 2018, Michelle was nominated and selected as Chair of the Women’s Employment- Economic Development Commission for the City of Baltimore. In June 2021, Michelle added published author to her resume, with her very 1st fictional novel (The Color of Pretty) that touches on growing up dealing with colorism, lack of confidence, self-esteem and just not feeling good enough. With roots planted in “The Greatest City in America,” Michelle can be found volunteering her time throughout her hometown of Baltimore. She also serves as the human resource professional board member for Mi-Casa Su-Casa Behavior Health Services, and acts as a mentor and coach through Girls’ Empowerment Mission Program (GEM).
